It has Lamy's trademark clip and triangular grip, and an elongated body with a tapered end. While the Joy comes with a 1.9 mm nib, it has the additional bonus of easily interchangeable nibs. Additional nibs may be purchased separately.

Comes with one cartridge, requires a Lamy fountain pen converter to use bottled ink (sold separately).
