Clairefontaine - Age-Bag Journal - A5 - Black (Lined)

This notebook is okay but not perfect. I thought it was a great value with 288 pages but it doesn't have the kind of binding that works well with that many sheets. It's terrible to write in for the first 1/4 of the notebook, you need to prop something under the front cover because the spine is not flexible enough for it to lay even close to flat. The paper takes the ink very well but I'm not crazy about the texture, it feels kind of waxy and provides a feedback that I don't much like. I don't experience that with their Seyes French Ruled notebooks.

I much prefer the binding and texture of the LIFE Noble Note, I only wish it came in a white paper option.
