Made in France and with Clairefontaine high grade vellum 80gsm paper. This smooth paper is perfect for fountain pens and rollerball pens. Dot grid ("lilac geometric dot matrix") gives you the structure of graph ruling without the harsh lines for sketching, writing or designing: these dots can actually disappear or "fade" with certain scanners or photocopiers.

Great for keeping on your desk for notes, sketches, and designing grand pieces of architecture.

Best I have tried

I picked up a variety of papers from Wonderpens to test out. This one stood out as the nicest to write on with a fountain pen. It is smooth but not too slippery, and I saw no feathering, even with my very wet Pilot Parallel 1.5. And even more remarkable is that there is not just no bleeding, but no ghosting either! You can easily write on both sides of this paper with even a broad-nibbed juicy fountain pen without worrying about the ugliness of the text showing through. No wonder everyone raves about Clairefontaine paper.
I actually brought all my papers and pens to a friend's house so he could try them out. He is left-handed, so a fast absorbing paper is a must. He tried this and immediately jumped on the Wonderpens' site and ordered some Rhodia notebooks and a Pilot Metropolitan pen! He has been using Moleskine for years but was an immediate convert.
