Palomino Blackwing Pencil Point Guard - Matte Black

These are well-designed and solidly made of sturdy material. They fit well and do not come loose even when jiggled around in a pencil case. I have several and cannot always find one when I need it, but am trying to keep them in one spot when not in use because they really do save a lot of sharpening for those of us who like our points sharp.

I bought this Palomino Blackwing Pencil Point Guard in Matte Black to… well… guard the point of a Palomino pencil. It feels solidly built and came in pristine condition. I own four different Palomino pencils but only bought one guard, just to own one; I will never sharpen the pencils, so the tips don’t need protection: I don’t usually use pencils, but when I need to, I turn to my trusty Uni Kuru Toga Advance Slide Pipe, which always keeps a sharp point.
