So close to perfect

I received one of these to use with my new camel Traveler's Company notebook. On the pro side, it attaches to the cover without much difficultly but clips on with great strength. You can move it or take it off but it requires a lot of effort. Also a pro is that it looks great and I expect it will look even better with age. A big con, though, is that the loops are smaller than expected. I got this for my birthday, when I also received my first fountain pens in decades. I wanted to used the clip to attach 2 Lamy Safaris to my notebook. The loop on the right side fit the pen without any real difficulty. The loop on the left was smaller and required quite a bit of effort to get the pen through it. It has loosened up a bit over time, but its still quite snug. The Lamy Safari is not a particularly large or thick pen. If you have a thick pen, it may not fit. It might be best to test it.
