Tries to do too much maybe?

Let me explain. I've got a Tomoe River A5 notebook mounted on the right. Pretty much all my pens (Lamy 2K, Pelikan M805, Faber Castell E-motion, Pilot VP, Pilot Falcon) need to be carefully positioned to turn their clips to the side. Otherwise they will leave a mark on the notebooks cover. The case is just thick enough to close, but there is pressure on the clips. It's kinda tight.

The other thing that I did not notice until I got the cover.....Unlike all the nice youtube video's showing you the packed cover, when the notebook is tucked into the flap, unless you remove the notebook, you can not write on the back of the pages (on the left side)......The whole surface is uneven because of all the stuff you've packed on the left.

Right now I'm only storing the notebook in this cover, no FP's, cables, credit cards. It works, but the design definitely has some short comings. Also, at least in my package, no more evil eye charms. Not sure what's happened there. Anyways, prior to purchasing I thought this was a good deal. Now that I have it in my hands, I don't agree anymore. The quality and craftsmanship is A+, but the design is not what it's cracked up to be (maybe that's the YT reviewers fault partially).

Great folio!

I bought this identical folio directly from Galen, and it cost tons more in shipping/duty/exchange rate -

The folio itself is great, and I use it every day. Wish WP was selling these a couple years ago!

One thing, it is easy to overstuff it if you fill it chock full of pens/ink/thick notebook - but it still carries a lot, before it gets tricky to zip shut.
