These bottles are an excellent solution to the perennial problem of badly designed ink bottles.
When you get to the last part of many ink bottles, you have a problem covering the nib of your pen, in order to fill a converter; not with these. Each one comes with a great little plastic cone inside, which allows you to upturn the bottle (remember to keep the lid on nice and tight, and don't cross-thread!), and it fills the cone, which allows you to fill your pen with the last remnants of that expensive ink.
And with the labels peeled off, and the glass buffed up, they make a nice looking inkwell.
One thing to note though, my current favorite pen is a Platinum 3776 with a music nib. This nib (I can't say anything about other Platinum nibs), is quite large, and three-tined, so it doesn't fit into the plastic cone far enough to draw ink into the converter properly.
Regardless, three bucks at the time I wrote this; excellent value.
