There is so much to share from our Okayama leg to visit The Superior Labor that I’ve had to break it up into multiple parts. Above is the famous renovated schoolhouse that houses much of the operations that produces so many of our favourite leather and canvas pieces.

Many familiar sights and smells and tiny glimpses of the behind the scenes! How fascinating to see the disassembled parts of something that will eventually end up in some other country, in someone’s home, in someone’s hands. Everything is connected in its own way.

A tiny present for our tiny traveller.

So neat to get a glimpse into how some of our exclusive pieces are made, meet the people who are putting them together, and to imagine how they start here, before making their way across the world to us.

Even the giant slugs are hard at work.
