What has my life come to? What am I doing with myself? The days and weeks and months and years are sliding through my fingers like water. Six years ago I acquired a cat because we lived in a factory warehouse with mice, and this cat caught nothing, although he one-time watched the dog corner a mouse with Jon and a broom, and now we have a set of six stamps of chickens, emotionally and spiritually (tangentially) related to our cat named Chicken.

Here they are. What fun! I cannot get enough of them. I’ve been stamping them everywhere, each one an imprint of my soul into this tangible world.

We were so lucky to work with Pix Dessine, an artist from Quebec, who you can also find online here.

These six frumpy, fluffy, cranky, curious poultry creatures are here for your snail mail, journal pages and notes-to-self.

And most important of all, our Chicken loves them. The delight on his face! That alone is gift enough to continue on in this harsh and cruel world.

I often wonder to myself after reading your blog posts how you can possibly have the bandwidth to come up with them with all you have on your plate but I’m so glad you do. They are absolutely delightful.

And Tuna can cuddle which different one every day! Including the big one with real fluff.

I love Chicken. He and Tuna are literally meant to be, personality-wise. Maybe one day you guys can have Chicken and Tuna stamps, like those stickers you guys got a while ago!
