Toronto Calligraphy Class: Introduction to Pointed Pen

Join us at our Toronto shop (52 Clinton St.) for an introductory calligraphy class taught by expert calligrapher Michele Nidenoff, who is also involved with the Calligraphic Arts Guild of Toronto. She has a wealth of experience in calligraphy as well as illustration and fine art, and has studied at OCAD. Also, she teaches calligraphy classes for the TDSB.

This class is designed for those interested in calligraphy and the art of writing - specifically working with a "pointed pen" or flexible nib - no prior experience is needed. This three hour class presents the basics of pointed pen work, as well as information on the use and care of your tools.

Come empty-handed, but leave with your own calligraphic tools - a nib holder and nibs.
No preparation is needed, but you are encouraged to come 5-10 minutes early to get settled in.
