Lamy Studio Fountain Pen - Black

Pen arrived as described, in a timely manner. I've made a few purchases through Wonder Pens and it's always been a good experience.

I have been writing with this pen for about a month now and can say that it has been a joy to use when paired with my Rhodia notebook. The ink flows smoothly from the fine nib and doesn't bleed through to the other side of the paper.

As mentioned in another review, the weight of this pen is nice and even though it has some heft to it I don't become strained after writing for long periods of time.

A great fountain pen that I hope to use for years to come...

... or until I get the itch to purchase a new one from Wonderpens!

I just got this in the mail today and just can't wait to open it. I bought this for a friend so I don't have anything to say about the actual use of the pen. The look of it was really good, simple and professional. One thing I want to point out is that, when I purchased the pen, I made a comment when placing the order, saying that I am buying this for a friend and hope they can make sure the packaging is in good condition. So then when I got the package, there is a postcard in there, handwritten by the stuff , addressed to me and hoping that my friend will enjoy the pen. It is very sweet of them to do this and I will definitely come back if I need to buy stationaries!

As the description outlines, this pen is solidly built and meant to last a lifetime. The body is heavier than most pens I've used and I wouldn't say that it's built for marathon writing sessions but it's sturdy and travels well with me. I love the fact that the cap is designed to click into place when posted or capped. The design is unassuming and not flashy but sleek and professional. I use this at work (a bank) and regularly get comments about it. I bought it with a fine nib and have not had any issues with it and sometimes write of poor quality paper and it keeps going. The only complaint I have is how often I need to refill it b/c the piston cartridge is kind of small by my standards (but I do use it a lot).

Would buy another LAMY in a heartbeat.
