Seeing that there was only one review of this product, and it was scored considerably lower than I value it, I felt the need to show support for what I consider to be a must-have addition to the pen, only proceeded by the mini converter now available.
Admittedly, I do not own any of the Al-Sport models, so I cannot speak to their performance with those models. I do however, own two regular plastic-bodied Sport's and they both use these clips, one silver & one gold. I consider these an invaluable compliment to my pens. The pens are modest in size, which is possibly the reason why these pens have been so popular for the decades they have been...you can carry them anywhere, anyhow. To that end, the clip truly makes it a pocket pen...you can clip it to your pocket, instead of chasing it around your shirt pocket to get ahold of it.
Just my two cents, take it for what it's worth and if your needs are similar to my own. The bottom line for 'the other hand' is that I wouldn't own a Sport without one, and therefore highly recommend this accessory.
Does not fit well and scratched my Kaweco Sport Aluminum/Carbon right away. You need to keep this pen capped when writing as it is so small and this clip does not add value to the pen in this regard. The Kaweco Sport collection should not have a clip as it ruins the writing experience. The pen perfect without the clip and I do not recommend this clip.
