Pilot Metropolitan - Retro Pop - Lime Green

This was one of the first pens I bought at the start of my fountain pen journey many months ago. The Pilot Metropolitan is a great starter pen: It's sturdy, comes in a nice verity of colours, and is very economical in price. Great for students who have to be careful with their budget.

I bought mine with a fine nib, and find that works well on cheaper paper I use for school, with most of the inks I use.

The metal body gives the pen a little more weight than most in its price point, and gives in a more expensive feel.

I'm not the biggest fan of the squeeze converter that comes with the pen. I can't see the ink level, and cleaning it is a bit of chore (thought what form of cleaning isn't?). That's being said it's easy enough to use, comes with the pen with no additional price, and more that good enough for a beginner.

This is one of the pens I use daily for classes in university, and would recommend this to beginners or someone who is looking for a "workhorse pen".
