Fun but with flaws

I really like the whole Platinum Preppy line. They just work and have a good shape in my hand. This highlighter is a really nice light yellow color. However, it uses a fountain pen type ink and it makes nearly everything smudge. Forget highlighting Gel pens, Rollerball Pens and don't even think of highlighting fountain pen ink. If I'm 100% honest, it's even smudged some printed text from my inkjet printer even though the pages were printed days before.
