Platinum Prefounte Fountain Pen - Night Sea

Got this as a gift a couple months back and it immediately became my "toss it in my bag" pen. Given the sturdy nature of Platinum's nibs this also makes a decent pen to have on your desk where it might get 'borrowed'. Nice upgrade from the Preppy, same reliable nibs, overall a win.

i purchased the medium nib, which i find is still thin enough to be used for everyday writing in my planner while still wide enough to show some shading on lighter inks. it works perfectly with the platinum converter and the ink flow is smooth. very happy with this purchase!

Disappointed with this pen. Despite using the appropriate ink, the flow constantly stops. I have tried writing on different types of paper (i.e. on a generic notepad and heavier stock paper) with no improvement.
