Traveler's Company Brass Ruler

I use this with my bullet journal and to do's. It is stiff, but has enough give for small books that might have a curve. It's width is also perfect for what I was looking for. I store it in my pen wrap. The units are metric, and you do feel them a bit when drawing lines, but you don't see any bumps in the line. Upgrading from a school plastic ruler in a protractor set, this item seems like night and day. I did try the thin metal 6in ruler with the cork backing, but I felt it was to wide and flimsy.

This one was just perfect.

I'm a big fan of brass products and have been collecting them for my writing and drawing tools. This ruler stands out to me as it's a solid and flexible piece of brass that will gain some patina with use. People who have seen me use it always ask about it. Great way to start a conversation with other people who may find value in such neat things. :)
